The story behind the image
Aren’t sunsets magical? The change from daylight to night happens somewhere on the planet right now, so it shouldn’t be considered as something special. Yet, as there are many issues that prevent a nice sunset, it is something special. For example: Clouds, mountains, or buildings blocking off the view, or a busy or otherwise unattractive scenery ruining the shot.
Anyway, we were in Lazise at the Eastern coast of the Lago di Garda and experienced this beautiful sunset from the patio of our appartment. I like the restricted color set and the subtle shades of the lake. I know, it’s very close to kitsch but still on the positive side. And yes, I would love to be there. Right now.
