The story behind the image
Wedding photography enables you to shoot all kinds of fascinating images as you will be typically joining the couple prior to the wedding and follow them through one of the most important days in their lives – with countless photo opportunities.
I like to shoot also the dressing and styling of the bride. Here, I wanted to capture the movement of the Mascara brush to add some motion blur. Only the lashes of the bride should be in focus. It has worked out perfectly, especially as the lashes of the bride are really sharp and the rest blurs nicely away. The colors are just skin tones and some black, so nothing distracts from the action.
