The story behind the image
I photographed a wedding in Milano, and one thing I usually do when abroad is to visit the city as well. One walk lead me to the Arco della Pace (“Arch of Peace”) which is a one huge statement for peace.
Of course, I shot the arch from different angles, but when one tourist walked up to the building and pulled out her smartphone to take a photo I couldn’t resist and capture that moment as it perfectly shows the true size of the building.
By the way, the photo session of the wedding was brilliant, especially the official ceremony at the Palazzo Reale and the session on the Piazza del Duomo. Lovely.
