The story behind the image
In summer 2005 we visited Scotland for three weeks. Our first overnight stop was in Dumfries at the western coast. About 15 km south of Dumfries you will find Caerlaverock Castle. It was already 6.30 pm, so we came just a little too late to visit the castle. The housekeeper (wearing a traditional Kilt) was about to close the castle to visitors. Bad luck, but then again I could capture this photo. Nice.
