The story behind the image
Ah. The arrival of spring is a major event for me this year because it wipes away the grey and subdued tones (and associated weather) and dips the world into colors, smells, and beauty.
Last week we spent in Hamburg, Germany, and spring was present there, too, albeit nature was not as far advanced on the race towards summer as in Munich. Still, it was great to walk along the Außenalster and observe how a bit of spring affects everyone. The mood was very good.
In this image, while pretty generic, I used f/16 and placed the sun near one of the branches, hoping for star shaped beams. And I got them! They may not be as nice and long as with an L-lens, but the result is still very, very nice.
Have a great day, folks!
