The story behind the image
The comedians of Monty Python used to say: “And now for something completely different.” Et voilá.
Shrimps.
Büsum in Northern Germany is a busy tourist destination at all times, even during late winter and early spring, and it is one of the few locations where traditional fish trawlers catch North Sea Shrimps. Every day they unload their nightly catch right in front of the visitors.
For those city folks from Hamburg who cannot make it to Büsum but still want to enjoy fresh shrimps, the Isemarkt is the place to go. There is at least one bespoke merchant from Büsum!
The shrimps looked very good, so I asked whether I could take a photo, and the folks agreed. 🙂
Thank You!
