The story behind the image
As spring approaches, I think a bit of dreaming of the summer is okay. And what could be better than the late afternoon mood at an Italian beach? So I picked this very nice image from the 1960s to fire up my beachy dreams.
The image was well executed, in my view. The photographer used a tripod to steady the camera during a long(ish) exposure time. Take a look at the crashing waves in the front. I’d say that was maybe 1/25 sec (or even slower) while the reflections of the sun are tack-sharp.
I admit, the image is a bit generic, but I don’t care. I like the emotions it triggers for me. 🙂
