The story behind the image
Florence in Italy for sure is one of the most photographed cities in the world. Its heritage and outright beauty makes it a wonderful destination for zillions of tourists from around the world, and its difficult to shoot any unusual images. But I tried.
This image shows the Piazzale degli Uffizi with several statues in the background. I used a tele lens (most likely the Canon FD 70-210 mm f/4) from across the Arno river, at Via de’ Bardi. The weather was just so-so, but I like the perspective and historic statues that overlook the tourists.
Nice.
