The story behind the image
Recently we visited Bernburg (Saale) in Germany, a small city with a long history. Today, it is the capital of the Salzlandkreis district in Saxony-Anhalt. It has an old castle with a large courtyard and a long history.
Right next to the castle, the river Saale prominently flows through the town center.
When we explored the city in the afternoon, the view from the bridge was stunning. Even more so, when a small motor boat gently approached from the distance, breaking the mirror-like surface of the river.
Awesome.
