The story behind the image
Here is the final image showing Markree Castle in Ireland where we spent a night in September 1999. We loved the atomsphere at the castle – authentic with a somewhat old-fashioned charm. A real castle instead of a polished boutique dream.
This photo shows the beautiful side of the castle from the large garden. Our room was on the first floor, and featured the 5th and 6th window from the left. So our view of the garden was spectacular, especially in the morning.
