The story behind the image
The Italian Adriatic Sea is one loooong beautiful stretch. In 2016 we picked the town Cattolica near Rimini for our Pentecost vacation. And we had a great time at the Villa Fiorita, concretely in their Begonia appartment.
Situated directly at the long promenade and beach, it still had a fabulous pool (my photo) which was not too busy so early in the year.
The town of Cattolica was quite nice. It has everything that you’d expect from a tourist town, including retail stores, restaurants and a busy harbour. It can be reached conveniently via the Autostrada A14.
