The story behind the image
In Bellaria Igea Marina all mornings seem to be exciting. And some are even more exciting. Just like a month ago, on the 1st of September, 2024. I had just captured a photo of a bagnino preparing a rescue boat for the day, and had moved on towards the passenger ferry pier where the Super Tayfun picks up passengers for excursions along the Adriatic Coast.
I put the tiny tripod in the wet sand, tilted the display of the camera slightly, and shot the pier against the orange and blue sky. The shape of the pier was reduced to a silhouette and added structure. The reflections in the calm sea were awesome.
Very, very nice.
