The story behind the image
On our trip to the German Baltic Sea we stopped for three nights in Hamburg. That meant three days full of exciting views.
One morning we set out to explore the city center, starting with the Binnenalster and the city center. As the weather got better by the minute, we also set sails to take a ride along the Elbe river, towards west.
My photo shows the location near the museum harbor Oevelgönne (on the left) and the working harbor with the huge cranes on the opposite. I used once more the panorama function of my phone to capture this awesome view.
