The story behind the image
The party in Pitzlloch had been awesome. The last guests went home at 2 o’clock in the morning. The next morning we were greeted with this stunning view across Erlstätt, the village in the neighborhood.
This is the area of Chiemgau at its best: small villages and towns, often grown over centuries, and the Alps so close that you can almost reach out and touch them. In the summer you can take a short drive down to lake Chiemsee and hop into the refreshing water.
