The story behind the image
When we visited the village Portpatrick at the most western point of Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland, we also walked over to Dunskey Castle which is just a short walk from Portpatrick harbour. The castle goes back to the 14th century. It’s one of the smallest castles we’ve seen on our trip, and this site has all the details.
I like the reduced color set of the image – all saturated green and blue – just like I remember Scotland as a rough and beautiful place near the sea.
Lots of copyspace, by the way, but I think it would be sad to see the blue sky cluttered with a headline…
