The story behind the image
This year, we did an Easter Walk with the family who lives in Aßling in Bavaria, Germany. They suggested a route across the fields, and I was stunned by the simplistic beauty of the location. Upon first glance, it really has nothing special. It’s a field and some trees.
However, it was really quiet – no traffic noise whatsoever. The landscape was not obstructed by power generating windmills. We met very few other people who enjoyed the same walk.
I once more tried the panorama photo option of my Samsung phone to capture this moment. The only thing I don’t like about this impressive phone feature it the size of the resulting image. It is tiny, compared to a series of DSLR shots merged into one super large image. But results are good enough for showing around. And for refreshing nice memories. 🙂
