The story behind the image
On our way towards Tofino on Vancouver Island, B.C. we passed Cameron Lake. You can’t miss it, because it sits next to Highway 4 which is the only road connection between Parksville and Port Alberni. But the lake is unmissable, too, because it is so beautiful! When we stepped out of our car at the picnic site, the lake presented itself in the best possible way: a shoreline with several (tiny) beaches, and golden sand that gently decends into the clear and calm water.
Very nice.
