The story behind the image
For our 2004 trip to South Africa we spent the first couple of nights in the city center of Cape Town. Our excellent hotel was the Park Inn, located directly at the Green Market Square with convenient access to downtown. All the shops and places of interest are within walking distance.
The colorful market consists of hundreds of booths that are built up every morning. It is the perfect place to get souvenirs.
