We did a side-trip to Florence in Italy – a great year-round destination but even better in summer. Here’s a shot of the Piazzale degli Uffizi, a timeless, iconic place in the heart of the city. It’s a tourist magnet, but it’s a breathtaking beauty despite the masses roaming the Piazzale. A must-see when in Florence.
