The story behind the image

Here’s another rare shot of Berlin in Germany. It shows the Red City Hall, the residence of the Governing Mayor and the Senate of Berlin.

I call this view ‘rare’ because you can only shoot it from the Park Inn by Radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz, a giant high rise building where I was staying during my visit to the city. (Back in 2001 it was called Forum Hotel Alexanderplatz, though) The view from the 24^th floor was awesome at day and at night!

I had brought just my tiny Kodak DC 4800 Zoom Digital, so the high resolution image size is not really “high” by todays standards.
