The story behind the image
Here’s another rare shot of Berlin in Germany. It shows the Red City Hall, the residence of the Governing Mayor and the Senate of Berlin.
I call this view ‘rare’ because you can only shoot it from the Park Inn by Radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz, a giant high rise building where I was staying during my visit to the city. (Back in 2001 it was called Forum Hotel Alexanderplatz, though) The view from the 24th floor was awesome at day and at night!
I had brought just my tiny Kodak DC 4800 Zoom Digital, so the high resolution image size is not really “high” by todays standards.
