The story behind the image
We did a side-trip to Florence in Italy – a great year-round destination but even better in summer. Here’s a decent photo of the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore , a timeless, iconic beauty in the heart of the city. The sun was shining nicely, and the large building with its red roof contrasted well with the clear blue sky which offers some copyspace. Nice.
