The story behind the image
Here’s the second image of a mini series showing crocodiles in their natural habitat, i.e. at places where swimming is definitely not recommended, regardless of the temperatures. I shot this image on an extermely hot day just two minutes after the first image of the series. The location is Crooks Corner at the north-eastern border of the Kruger National Park where the small Luvuvhu river meets the big Limpopo river. The sand banks in the middle of the Luvuvhu were full of crocodiles! And no, I was not eager at all for a refreshing swim in the river.
