The story behind the image
I attended a historic car show in Taufkirchen near Munich. Of course, there were lots and lots of photo opportunities. But I really liked this image the most, because it shows a detail that is taken for granted and thus often overlooked or ignored: the logo of the car maker.
Here, it’s the iconic Cadillac logo, mounted to the grille of a 1962 Cadillac Eldorado. In my view this is perfectly balanced, and there seems to be not a single truly straight line in the logo, like the perfectly beautiful handwriting. I also like the reflection of the logo in the bumper.
Lovely.
