The story behind the image

Yesterday I shared a photo from the coast in Sardinia, shot from the Strada Provinciale 71. Here is another shot from the shoreline of the Mediterranean Sea, shot (funnily enough) from the SP 17.

The key attraction in this picture is the street itself which winds along the shoreline for many kilometers. Drivers from overseas have to be quite alert as there is a constant flow of turns, and the local drivers are often in a hurry and try to pass you even if the situation does not really allow for it (in our view, of course).

However, if you like to drive a car, this street is really fun to drive and well worth the side trip. Oh, and please do plan for several photo stops as the views are terrific. 🙂
