The story behind the image
Tuscany has many stunningly beautiful places beyond the tourist magnets Florence, Siena, and Pisa. One of these historic places is Massa Marittima, situated a bit off the west coast.
The weather forecast announced yet another hot day, and we did not want to go to the beach but explore the hills near the coast. And we found this town that is as Italian as it can get. It has a Piazza and a very old cathedral, it provides stunning views across Tuscany, and it has all the amenities you might expect. And it’s peaceful. Standing up there and gazing at the landscape is quite relaxing.
In this image, the red roofs and yellow walls that contrast well with the gentle Tuscan hills in the background. Like.
