The story behind the image
When the winter approaches in Central Europe, it is always good to think of a nice beach that you’ve encountered. The main beach of Los Cristianos at the south coast of the island of Tenerife in Spain certainly qualifies for this. You’ll get clean, light brown sand (which is not typical for Tenerife), neatly arranged sun chairs, a small yacht harbour, palm trees, and in the nearby town center all the amenities you could possibly think of. Add warm temperatures and a clear sky, and you’re set up for the perfect day.
We were in Los Cristianos in the late afternoon and the sun was already casting long shadows, creating warm, saturated colors. A perfect shot of a beach situated in the center of a busy town. And ideal for – yes! – day-dreaming the approaching winter away. Nice.
