The story behind the image
Should you ever have the opportunity to stay for a couple of nights in Swakopmund, Namibia, we recommend considering The Stiltz B&B. Even if it’s situated at the southern end of Swakop, it’s definitely an awesome location that is just a few steps away from the beach. The views are magnificient, and the cottages – as the names implies – have been erected on stilts. Both the extorior and the interior decoration are stunning. We stayed in the cottage above and were truly sad when we had to leave it to head for our next destination.
Looking at their website, I see very little has changed in the 15 years since we stayed at The Stiltz. Which is good, very good, in my view. This B&B is a diamond and will be one of the most memorable B&Bs, ever. For us, anyway.
