The story behind the image
I had just upgraded my gear, replacing the Canon 1ds mark II with the mark III – and took it for a day trip to Tegernsee and its beautiful lake south of Munich, Germany. It had been a sunny day, and people were all over the place, enjoying the warm light of the sun. After all, the winter would soon enough arrive with snow and cold.
At the yacht harbour in Tegernsee I spotted this pier with two women sitting at its end, looking at the lake, talking.
