The story behind the image
Here’s a fun shot from our recent trip to Italy.
The sunrise had happened and I had the shots I was looking for. Then I saw the top of a childrens’ play at Spiagga 54. I realized that it was looking good in the early morning sun, but I was wondering about the right angle.
I opted for an extreme shot, placing the Smiley (or Emoji as they are called nowadays) into the center at the bottom. Just the clear sky above, a gentle gradient from light yellow to light blue, with lots of space to put your copy. I was still smiling on the way to the hotel.
Even now it makes me smile. Like.
