The story behind the image
This shot concludes the mini series about sunrises in Bellaria-Igea Marina, a small town situated close to Rimini in Italy.
In this picture, I especially like the ‘sun beams’ illuminating the sky, the super calm sea, and of course, the traditional boat of the lifeguards. Typically, the lifeguards pull their boats onto the beach where they rest while waiting for the next use. Not this one! It had been moored in the water and was now perfectly set into the scene by the rising sun.
