The story behind the image
Apart from its ferry port to the Outer Hebrides, Ullapool in Scotland is home to a small fleet of classical fisher boats. Fishing is certainly not as important for the area as in former times, and today tourism has become a key industry for Ullapool and the entire region.
But I still like these boats that have been moored right next to the ferry port – a nice, peaceful maritime image.
