The story behind the image
I think every sunset is exciting, as long as there is some clear sky, somewhere. Only a few days ago we were sitting on the balcony of our accommodation in Seeboden am Millstätter See in Carinthia and enjoyed the approaching sunset. But that evening the sunset turned into a dramatic inferno in the sky. Large patches of clouds were illuminated by the sun that had disappeared (for us) already but was still active in the far distance behind the mountain range.
So I reached for the camera and captured the moment. Simply love these colors and harsh contrasts.
