The story behind the image
I’m back from a short trip to Seeboden in Austria, a town situated in Carinthia region right next to Millstätter See, one the the majestic and incredibly beautiful lakes of Austria. I woke up early and went to the lake to explore the coastline. Sunrise had already happened, but the light was still beautiful. At the Klauberpark I discovered this tree hanging over the rather calm lake water.
Outside the frame were a couple of early morning swimmers who enjoyed the warm water, but I preferred the undisturbed peaceful lake. It was going to be another hot summer day, and very soon countless tourists would seek refreshment as well.
I just love the magic light of this image.
