The story behind the image
The other day I travelled to Northern Germany once more. This trip lead me to Glücksburg, a beautiful town at the Northern end of Germany. We had booked a table for dinner at the excellent restaurant of the Strandhotel Glücksburg. I can highly recommend it, and – despite the prices at the upper end of the spectrum – the value for money is very high. You get fresh, tasty quality dishes, served by friendly and experiened staff.
Before we entered the restaurant we did a short walk along the seaside, and I had just my phone to take this picture of the central beach in front of the hotel. It was already late in the afternoon, and a strong, fresh wind was blowing. So it’s no surprise that the tiny beach was almost empty and the nordic beach chairs were all lined up nicely. It was a peaceful and very relaxing experience to be there.
