The story behind the image
Between the beach and our hotel had been a stretch of multiple palm trees, one could almost call it a wood. However, at the beach there was just this single palm tree. And it became the victim of my ‘Lonely Tree Series’.
I like this image because it has lots of copyspace for those who need it, a nice blue sky with high clouds, and – of course – the palm tree which is illuminated by the afternoon sun.
