The story behind the image
This shot is from the harbor of Cagliari, Sardinia. I just love visiting working harbors, because there is always something going on, somewhere, and you find nice images like this – a red fishnet, illuminated by the morning sun.
While it looks like a simple photo, I love its many details. It’s a real network that connects many points on many ways. The red color dominates this image, and the harsh contrast gives the image an almost 3D like appearance.
I like it. A lot.
