The story behind the image
This is Strasbourg, and one of their most stunning attractions is the georgeous quarter of the city called “La Petit France” – “The Small France”. It offers many historic buildings, small streets and nice restaurants and shops. An eye feast for visitors and photographers alike.
Many small channels wind through the quarter. When we visited the quarter, the water was absolutely calm, acting as a mirror to the houses.
I did an entirely new scan from the original negative film (a Kodak 200 ISO film) and think the result is stunning. Of course, I’m a big fan of the mirror-like surface of the water, but also like the soft sunlight.
