The story behind the image
A bakery in Unterhaching, Germany, has created this variation of the traditional Bavarian Pretzels: pretzelss in heart shape, perfect for Valentine’s day, birthdays and other events where you want to surprise loved ones and friends with pretzel-like snacks. Of course, they just look differently from the classic form – the taste is identical.
By the way, while I was still active at Unsplash I posted an image of traditional Pretzels, which has been viewed 47,000+ times at the time of writing. At 570 downloads, it’s my most downloaded image so far. But Unsplash is far too restrictive and unpredictable in terms of content approval, so I have stopped contributing and re-opened my own site. Here I can post the photos I want without having a bot tell me my image is rubbish.
And yes, I’m certain the bot would not have approved the photo above. Hahaha.
