The story behind the image
Earlier that day we had arrived from San Francisco where we had stayed for the first couple of nights. Now, Pacific Grove was our first night “on the road”. And a visit of the Ocean View Blv provides you a first impression of the rugged coastline that is called “Big Sur”. It’s really a beautiful place. At its northern curve you will find the Point Pinos Lighthouse.
I like this photo because the warm glow of the approaching sunset illuminates the lighthouse building, and I captured the moment where the light would actually show. Nice.
