The story behind the image
When we were visiting Mossel Bay and Cape St Blaize in South Africa, I also took a photo of the rocky shoreline right next to the Point Hotel & SPA. The rocks really protect the mainland from the massive waves that keep clashing relentlessly against the coast. Here is a photo of higher up the St Blaize Hiking Trail that shows an overview of the location.
I like this photo because of the clear water, the complex texture of the rocks and the turqouise water in the distance. The single splashing wave underlines the power of the Indian Ocean. Nice.
