The story behind the image
We had just moved into our new home which had a field opposite the main entrance. Coming from an appartment in Munich’s city center, it was exciting to see how the nature around us developed. The field next to our house was full of canola. Beautiful bright yellow canola.
I wanted to capture that beauty but in a different way. So I opened up the aperture to f/2.8 and went into the field almost merging with it. Kneeling between the plants provided an entirely different perspective.
I love the result.
