The story behind the image
Very few images capture the raw beauty of nature better than this one. It’s a late afternoon view into the dry grass plains near Sesriem, Namibia.
I love everything about it: the single tree, the red sand, the yellow grass, the blue sky, the hills in the distance. The composition. Unspoilt nature. And I remember the silence. No artifical noises, just a very gentle blowing of the warm wind.
