The story behind the image
We came home from the sundowner tour on one of the many river arms of the Okavango Delta. As we approached our lodge, the fabulous Gunn’s Camp, the sun had set already and it was getting dark. However, the remaining lights dipped the sky into a potpourri of pink, purple and dark blue colors. It was simply breathtaking.
I selected a slight tele focal length to contrast the colors of the sky with the black silhouette of the trees. The image stabilizer of the lens enabled an exposure of 1/30 sec. I love the result.
