The story behind the image
The Italian Adriatic Coast is home to countless beautiful beaches. One of the most impressive beaches is certainly located in Vieste, a small town in the south of Italy. What makes their beach so special is the Monolite Pizzomunno, a huge white monolith that overtowers the southern beach of the town.
Vieste’s castle – the Castello Svevo Aragonese – provides perfect views on the Mediterranean Sea, the beach and the monolith. We think that Vieste is well worth a visit when you are in the area.
