The story behind the image
The Olympic Park in Munich is always worth a walk with a camera, especially on a sunny Saturday in June. The transparent roof of the Olympic Stadium inspires attractive, unusual perspectives, where portions of the main object are still mostly visible albeit slightly distorted. I had the tiny Kodak digital camera with me, so there is no real high-resolution image. (Remember, this is from 2002 where high-end digital photography was still in its infancy.) But I like the image, and it’s good enough for postcards and the web.
