The story behind the image
We stayed a couple of nights outside of Vieste, Italy, and visited the town one morning. When we approached the town on the SP-52 from North, one of the last turns revealed this fantastic view of Vieste’s lighthouse. The sun was up quite high already and illuminated the Mediterranean Sea between the lighthouse and the horizon, creating a sharp silhouette of the landmark. A sailing yacht underlined the maritime scenery. Awesome.
