The story behind the image
The other day I opened the front door and waved my daughter good bye. I realized that the emerging sunrise dipped the sky in bright orange tones. The crane had settled in a good position and I thought – “gosh, where’s the camera?” I ran upstairs, changed the attached lens for the ‘Bazooka’ and ran onto the street to capture this moment. What for? I don’t know, but I love the contrast, the composition, the colors. And the moment.
It’s always good to have the camera ready for a spontaneous image.
