The story behind the image
Earlier that day we had arrived in Ucluelet on Vancouver Island, and we couldn’t wait to explore the area. It was just a short drive from the B&B to the Amphitrite Lighthouse. The sky was clear, it was warm and we were stunned by the fantastic views and the approach of the Blue Hour.
I love this shot because of the harsh contrast of the lighthouse against the beautiful colors of the sky and the copyspace it provides. And, as a bonus, the light of the lighthouse is actually visible. Awesome.
