The story behind the photo
The Greek island of Kos is a popular tourist destination, and it’s easy to see why: the people are friendly, the beaches are nice and clean, and there is so much to see and do.
It was our second trip to the island, and this time we also rented a car for a few days to explore the island. So we drove from Marmari Beach all the way to Kefalos at the southern end of the island and even further to Paradise Beach – a secluded beach that could only be reached on a well maintained, long winded gravel road which was an adventure of itself. When we finally arrived high above the beach, we took a break and I captured this view.
Lovely.
