The story behind the image
We visited Carmel at the West Coast of California. What a nice town! Lots of beautiful homes, and a magnificent beach just steps away from the town center.
From the Carmel beach we could even spot Pescadero Point, the southernmost tip of the Monterey Peninsula. It can be accessed as part of the 17 Mile Drive along the coastline, and its key attraction is the tip that can be seen in my photo (from a distance.)
While people get excited about the drive and the stop at the tip, we felt it was not worth the effort as we felt there would not be a significant difference to the rest of the Highway Number One coastline. (Of course, you may have your own opinion, so feel free to take the drive.)
From the distance, however, it looks really nice. 🙂
